• Straps
Location: Great Hall, Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 811 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD
Payment:
We are offering a pay from the heart cost-model with a suggested range of $10 to $35.
We suggest a minimum payment for each class. This is the payment we need to continue to offering our services sustainably and to thank the church for hosting us. If you are able to pay more, you are helping us support those who can pay less and potentially expand our classes.
About Your Instructor:
Alexandra Johannsen is a certified 200RYT and has been practicing yoga, meditation, and breathwork for the past 5 years.
Drawing inspiration from many ancient spiritual and healing traditions, Alexandra uses breath, sound, movement, and mantra to create a unique and grounded space for nervous system regulation, releasing trapped energy, and deep exploration of the self.
No prior yoga or meditation experience is necessary to attend; simply stretch, rest, and experience the benefits of sound healing!
She is insured through BeYogi Insurance.
The HALIA Collective:
New in 2025, this collective of Baltimore-based singers focuses on yoga, breath, sound healing, and somatic emotional regulation.
The name, Halia, derives from many languges including Hawaiian, Malay, and Ukrainian - but the Greek origin of the word connects most to:
~ The vastness of the sea,
~ fluidity,
~ and depth
that we strive to find through our classes.
