About this event
A late-night call from an ex sends Ava back into a past she thought she'd left behind. That call leads her to Eleanor, an accomplished older woman in the middle of a midlife crisis of her own. Together, they work through blame and forgiveness and claim the power to define happiness on their own terms.
Different Words for Happiness is a world premiere by Everyman Resident Company member Katie Kleiger, directed by Laura Kepley. The play began as a reading in Everyman's Script Tease series and now comes to the stage as a funny, honest, and intimate new play.
Cast Conversations, a 30-minute facilitated talk right after the show, follow the Sunday, November 1 and Thursday, November 5 performances. Groups of 8 or more save on single tickets.
Runtime: 90 minutes, no intermission.
Listed by CitySpark: Baltimore, MD, StubHub: United States and Vivid Seats: Baltimore, MD, gathered by the Bowie events calendar.
