Mahj for Her - Mahjong Tournament Fundraiser

About this event

Love Mahjong? Join Us for a Fun Afternoon Supporting a Great Cause!

I'm excited to share that STEM for Her is hosting our first Mahj for Her: Playing with a Purpose fundraising tournament, and we'd love for our local mahjong community to join us!

Sunday, November 8, 2026 2:00–6:00 PM Cowo & Creche

This isn't your typical winner-take-all tournament! We're making it fun and inclusive for players of all levels, with plenty of opportunities to win.

• Over $1,000 in prizes and giveaways from Mahjong Line, Oh My Mahjong, and more!

• Raffle entries earned throughout play—whether you call Mahjong, finish one tile away, or play to a wall game.

• Special medals for our top point leaders.

• Refreshments, friendly competition, and a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow mahjong enthusiasts.

Tickets:

• $100 to play and compete for prizes

• $50 to attend as a spectator and support the cause

All proceeds support STEM for Her , a local nonprofit dedicated to inspiring and empowering girls and young women through hands-on STEM programs, mentorship, and scholarships throughout the DC metro area.

Whether you're a regular player, part of a mahjong group, or simply want to support a great cause, we'd love to see you there!

Space is limited, so grab your spot today!
