Young Sam Yoon’s richly atmospheric oil paintings invite viewers into emotional landscapes shaped by memory, nature, and time. Through layered paint and expressive, gestural brushwork, forms blur and dissolve into fields of texture and color, creating a sense of motion and quiet intensity. Rather than depicting specific locations, these works evoke emotional landscapes—impressions shaped by memory, sensation, and the feeling of being immersed in place.
Listed by Prince George's Suite (Squarespace), gathered by the Bowie events calendar.
