Prayer in the Family: Building a Prayerful Home
All parishioners are warmly invited to attend the Annual Advent Family Retreat on Saturday, December 5, 2026, hosted by the Cameroon Catholic Community in collaboration with Circle of Trust, Inc.
As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, join us for a day of prayer, spiritual renewal, learning, and family fellowship at Church of the Resurrection, 3315 Greencastle Rd, Burtonsville, MD 20866.
This year we will explore the importance of prayer, how to develop a personal prayer life, how to pray together as a family, and practical ways to build a prayerful home. Whether you already pray regularly as a family or are just beginning, you are welcome.
Activities include Holy Mass, inspiring talks, age-appropriate sessions for adults (18+), youth (12–18), and children (5–11), Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, and family fellowship.
The retreat is FREE and open to everyone. Please register all attending family members in advance so we can plan space, materials, and hospitality.
