About this event
Hopkins Gardens is in the courtyard of an apartment complex in Navy Yard. The garden beds are planted with herbs, vegetables and flowers. We come here every Thursday morning to harvest for our food giveaway at THEARC the next day. We also do a little weeding. It’s a peaceful activity suited for all skill levels.
Registration is HERE.
Wear clothes appropriate for the weather, and if it looks like there might be heavy rain, keep an eye on your email as we might send you a note to cancel. Bring a water bottle, and if you have garden gloves, bring those too (we have some to lend if you don’t).
Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
