About this event
Introduction
Join WOCO Hike & Sound Healing and Kojo Baidoo (@kojobirder) , in collaboration with the South Baltimore Gateway Partnership , for our next experience in the South Baltimore Urban Shoreline Tour Series on Sunday, November 22, 2026, from 9:30 AM–11:30 AM at the Patapsco Delta East Wetlands .
This time, we're exploring the Patapsco Delta East Wetlands , where shoreline restoration is bringing new life to South Baltimore's waterfront! 🌿
Together, we'll get an up-close look at restored wetlands, native vegetation, and wildlife habitats while learning how these improvements support cleaner waterways, shoreline protection, and climate resilience.
And of course, we're following the birds! 🐦
With Kojo the Birder, we'll look for resident and migratory birds while exploring how restored habitats provide important spaces for wildlife to feed, rest, and thrive.
Along the way, we'll connect the restoration of our shorelines to the health and well-being of our communities, with opportunities to slow down, observe, and reconnect with nature. Because as we restore our environment, we create opportunities to restore our communities and ourselves. 💚
This tour is OPEN TO ALL and welcoming to families, children, first-time birders, avid birders, nature lovers, and anyone interested in Baltimore's environment. No previous birding or environmental experience is required .
