About this event
The Rumina Center is excited to host a brand new support group- Milk & Cookies hour- Free for the whole community! Walk-in's welcome, but registration is preferred if possible so we know a rough number of attendees.
An inclusive, safe, place to come and hang out with other parents who are as sleep deprived as you are! Having a new baby can be isolating and humans are a social and story-telling species! Join other parents who are doing their best to navigate the waters of infant parenting.
Join LeeAnn Fincham, IBCLC and chat about all kinds of common challenges parents face every day! Topics include feeding, diapering, sleep, support systems, self-care (self-what?), joys and hopes, frustrations and challenges and any feelings and experiences of the parenting journey. You will find that you are not alone, that like-minded folks are all around you.
We will have scales available for parents wanting to do a weighted feed as well!
We will meet from 2pm to 3pm at the Severna Park Rumina Center on the 2nd and 4th Friday's of each month.
