Experience the "Gentle Way" of combat. This beginner friendly session focuses on learning the fundamental techniques/core concepts of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (escaping holds, controlling, pinning and submitting aggressors with chokeholds and joint manipulations). Though no previous martial arts experience, exercise regiment or physical conditioning is required, consistent practice transforms and hardens the healthy body. With the aim to achieve "effortless action", students learn and apply grappling techniques at times engaging in safe and mutually respectfully matwork - also known as "rolling", "randoori" or sparring.
