Our open art studio offers the freedom of an art-friendly space for creativity and the support of a clinician trained in art therapy. Bring a work in progress to develop further or use our supplies to create something new!
Our November Open Art Studio will feature the option to create felted stones. Felted stones use soap and water to cover a stone in soft wool in a process called wet felting. Creating felted stones offers a calming sensory experience while giving you a tangible grounding object to take home with you. Guidance and examples will be provided as well as tips for how we can tend to our nervous systems in our busy lives.
Our art studio is a safe, nonjudgmental space for expression, growth, and reflection through artmaking. Experimentation and collaboration are encouraged. No art experience is necessary, just an open heart and mind. Our focus is on the process and experience of art making, not the finished product.
