About this event
Join us for a compelling evening with Emmy Award-winning creator Yossi Vassa and acclaimed illustrator Yarden Vassa, as they share the story behind their graphic novel, The Last Day to Dress Up . Through a dynamic blend of storytelling, animated visuals, and live illustration, they will bring to life Yossi’s personal journey from Ethiopia to Israel and the experience of building a new identity in a new homeland. This program offers a powerful look at immigration, Ethiopian Jewish history, and the ways personal narrative can become meaningful art. Come be part of an engaging conversation about resilience, belonging, and the power of storytelling.
