About this event
This class is at our SouthEast location THEARC, 1901 Mississippi Ave, SE, Suite 202, Washington, DC 20020. This adult ballet class introduces participants to basic barre work, simple stretches, and center exercises, all in an engaging and relaxed atmosphere. Adult Open Ballet will use the foundational principles of the codified dance form with a distinct vocabulary, specific exercises, and steps that develop a disciplined body. Students will be able develop their strength, flexibility, and control and learn anatomical terms to support functional movement. This class is an "open level" class and is adapted to the level of the students who attend. All levels are welcome.
