GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Wes Moore declared a State of Preparedness on Wednesday ahead of a weekend winter storm expected to bring heavy snow and ice that may disrupt roads and transit. Agencies are preparing for travel delays starting Saturday afternoon with peak impacts on Saturday night into Sunday morning. WJLA
- ➤ A survey from the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments shows that commuters in our region drove alone 57% of the time and used transit 22% last year, following pre-pandemic patterns.
