Ifeoma Onyia, owner of Clyopatra Winery and Vineyard, broke ground last week on a new 40-acre facility near Old Town Bowie.
By fall, the project will open a tasting room and banquet hall for 400 guests with plans for a boutique hotel and nature trail.

Bowie State University named Dawson Odums as its new head football coach yesterday at 10 a.m. in the Leonidas S.
James Physical Education Complex lobby. The coach brings over 25 years of experience and a record of building winning teams.
