WSSC Water lowered fluoride levels from (.7 to .4 mg per liter) for 2 million customers in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties due to supply challenges linked to the Middle East conflict.
The utility said it would restore levels when supply improves and advised customers to speak with their dentists.
