- ➤ County officials plan to transform the former Six Flags America site in Prince George’s County into a destination for shops, restaurants and entertainment instead of housing — an investment group including NBA star Kevin Durant will hold listening sessions to gather community ideas in six to eight months. - ➤ Prince George’s County will let Bowie residents help shape plans for the former Six Flags site, now owned by a team that includes Kevin Durant. County Executive Aisha Braveboy said the public engagement process will begin in 30 & 40 days. WJLA
- ➤ Prince George’s County is set to reimagine the 515-acre Six Flags site into a commercial destination after an investment group including Kevin Durant acquired the property; county officials want shops, restaurants, hotels and more instead of another housing development and plan to finalize details within 12 to 18 months.
