Prince George’s County Public Schools named Shawn Joseph as interim superintendent after former leader Millard House III was set to leave on June 18 — County Executive-elect Aisha Braveboy announced his selection on June 13.
The board will finalize his contract in the coming days as they work to set clear goals for the school system.
🏈 Sports
Bowie native NFL cornerback Josh Wallace will host his inaugural youth football camp at Whitemarsh Park on June 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.+ he will offer drills, a skills competition, lunch, a camp t-shirt and a goodie bag to 350 children aged 10 to 14.
Spaces remain limited+ registration is still open for the camp.
