- ➤ The Board of Public Works approved over $4.7 million on Monday—funding upgrades and land conservation across nine counties, including Frederick and Prince George’s County. In Bowie, $360,000 will fund improvements at a nine-acre site next to Huntington Park North with a nature trail and expanded playground equipment. WJLA
- ➤ Prince George's County launched a pilot program in June that uses the Petco Love Lost AI tool to reunite lost pets with their families—volunteers distribute bilingual yard signs with a QR code while the Animal Services Facility partners with Best Friends Animal Society as one of 25 shelters chosen nationwide.
