- ➤ Funeral director Wilson Chavis was convicted of second-degree murder on Feb. 14 for shooting pallbearer Ronald Banks during a burial service in 2023 — he will serve at least 25 years in prison after a 60-year sentence with all but 25 years suspended, officials said. WJLA
