CRIME NEWS
- ➤ In Prince George's County, three people were injured after two men on e-bikes opened fire along a wooded trail on July 23—one person was taken to a local hospital and two others were treated and released—and police are investigating the shooting. WJLA
- ➤ A late Thursday night shooting in Prince George's County left a man dead when officers arrived at 10:40 p.m.—at the 11400 block of Rhode Island Avenue—and found him suffering gunshot wounds before he was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead. WJLA
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ County Executive Aisha Braveboy and planning board chair Darryl Barnes said they are working to keep the Commanders in the county where they played for nearly 30 years. The leaders plan to redevelop the downtown Largo area & the Blue Line corridor as they urge the team to decide soon. WJLA
