CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police investigated two carjacking incidents in Prince George's County yesterday—one on Halstead Avenue at noon when a vehicle was reported stolen and another on Wynnleigh Road at about 12:30 p.m. where the victim sustained minor injuries and received treatment at the scene. WJLA
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ WalletHub's 2025 report shows that Maryland and D.C. lead the nation in early childhood education based on access, quality and spending. Maryland led the rankings with increases in preschool enrollment and robust school safety plans—D.C. ranked second with the highest pre-K enrollment and spending per child. WJLA
