Community and faith leaders hosted the Walk in My Shoes event that collected over 200 pairs of shoes for people in need and for families getting ready for back to school (marking the event’s third year).

The event also offered free expungement information and help with reemployment, housing, mental health, job and legal needs (support services provided by local organizers).

Prince George's County police responded on Friday at about 5:10 p.m. to a robbery on the 2300 block of Medinah Ridge Road where a person reported stolen items, and no suspect has been arrested as the investigation continues.
