- ➤ Maryland Gov. Wes Moore said Sunday he is considering redrawing the state's congressional districts ahead of the 2026 midterms to address concerns over uncompetitive races. Virginia gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger said she has no plans to change her state's current redistricting process. WJLA
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A Maryland resident was diagnosed with the rare New World screwworm parasite after traveling to El Salvador, health officials confirmed. Officials said the parasite, which normally affects cattle, poses no threat to the U.S. population. WJLA
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Today and tomorrow, the first Sapphire Golf Tour for Black women will take place in Prince George’s County at the Country Club at Woodmore, where players will compete for a $20,000 purse and the chance to build a legacy. Tour commissioner Tarek DeLavallade said the event is designed to help players reach the top levels of the LPGA—raising funds for a local nonprofit. WTOP
