- ➤ A multi-vehicle crash in Lanham on Sunday night at 8:40 p.m. left a Prince George’s County police officer seriously injured and two civilians hurt—one officer was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening. WJLA
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Prince George’s County police arrested Slater Chaia, 36, of District Heights after surveillance video from Aug. 13 showed him placing suspected incendiary devices at PGFD Station 805 in Capitol Heights—he faces charges for possession of a destructive device and reckless endangerment while the investigation continues. - ➤ Prince George’s County police investigated a homicide that occurred Monday night in Suitland when officers responded on the 2400 block of Darel Drive around 6:30 p.m. during Labor Day—detectives confirmed one death and observed family members near the scene. WJLA
