- ➤ Today, Bowie State University announced a historic $50 million unrestricted gift from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, bringing her total donation to $75 million since 2020. The gift will strengthen the university’s endowment — expand scholarships and research as part of its Boldly Forward strategic plan. Bowie State University
- ➤ Bowie State University unveiled a commemorative street sign — Bowie State University Way — at the corner of Calvert and Saratoga streets in downtown Baltimore as part of its 160th anniversary celebration honoring Maryland’s first HBCU.
