- ➤ WMATA will adjust 50 Metrobus routes and add a new line on Sunday, Dec. 14 to improve service based on rider feedback. Changes impact routes in DC, Maryland & Virginia, including an extra westbound trip from Bowie Park & Ride to Largo to reduce crowding. WJLA
- ➤ Prince George’s County will launch the Mother’s First Initiative in January to support new mothers in District 7, where 1,000 new mothers will receive free in-home assistance and join community meet-ups to access virtual resources. WTOP
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Wegmans is recalling two types of deluxe unsalted mixed nuts sold from Nov. 3 to Dec. 1 at stores including those in Maryland due to potential salmonella contamination. Customers are advised to return the recalled items for a full refund & no illnesses have been linked to the product. WJLA
- ➤ Mellace Family Brands California issued a recall for two Wegmans Deluxe Mixed Nuts Unsalted that may contain Salmonella from raw pistachios; products sold between Nov. 3 and Dec. 1 should be returned to Wegmans for a full refund. WJLA
