- ➤ Prince George’s County schools demonstrated the AI storytelling tool, Lumi Story, at Largo High School Tuesday, Dec. 9. The program, backed by Colin Kaepernick, boosts literacy and supports over 50 languages — giving teachers full oversight and training to equip students with emerging digital skills. WTOP
- ➤ Prince George’s County Public Schools launched a pilot at Largo High School that lets students use the AI-powered tool Lumi Story — for creating graphic novels. Dr. Shawn Joseph, County Executive Aisha Braveboy, and Colin Kaepernick attended the kick-off as the program runs through June 2026. WJLA
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Prince George’s County opened its Housing Choice Voucher Program application last week and received over 47,000 entries for 5,000 slots. The county will randomly select applicants over the next 45 days and email results — anyone asking for payment is likely running a scam. WTOP
