Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
ATLS Traditional Student Course
Course Description: The ATLS student course, comprised of interactive group discussion and small group rotation through skill stations, offering hands on practice in the primary areas of initial assessment, airway, breathing, circulation, and disability, with additional practice in other skills. The course concludes with a written post course test and a one-on-one initial assessment testing scenario.
Participants: Physicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians, Residents, Medical Students
ATLS Hybrid Student Course
Course Description: The ATLS Hybrid blends e-learning with the in-person skills stations and initial assessment testing scenarios. Participants complete the ATLS modules online prior to arriving at the course for skills stations and testing. The course concludes with a written post course test and a one-on-one initial assessment testing scenario.
Length of Course: 1.5 Days
