- ➤ The City of Bowie is offering a federally funded grant program to help eligible single family homeowners—such as seniors, teachers, first responders, veterans, and disabled residents—fix safety hazards, improve energy efficiency, and upgrade systems; the maximum grant is $10,000 and applications are accepted until August 29 for homes within city limits.
